Antique Wood Doll Rocking Cradle, 1800s, Grayish Blue Dry Paint. Primitive little doll rocking cradle, Americana handmade 100+ years ago for a child’s small doll. It is homemade with old square nails circa 1880s or earlier. Still retains it grayish blue dry paint. Could be used to display old toys, small dolls or stuffed toys or whatever you collect. Fill it with seasonal floral/greenery or candles to make an interesting display on a farm table. A great farmhouse decor item. CONDITION Thick and sturdy with a rich brown color. The cradle is in very good overall condition with typical use and wear marks throughout that commensurate with age.  APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS Overall dimensions are 12-3/4″ long x 6″ wide and across the rockers 11-3/4″, stands 8” tall.    Our antique are collectible and are not new and not reproductions, and have lived a long and eventful life and sometimes developing flaws. Therefore, use and wear should be expected with these items, unless stated in description.
